Day of the Job Interview
1. Don’t skip your breakfast!(you might faint with too much anxiety – you don’t want that).
2. Dress up appropriately and professionally.
3. Be ON time – when I say on time means exactly on the dot. Not early - not late. When you come early – they might think you don’t respect their time. If you’re late it’s not good either but if you are voluntarily provide an explanation.
4. Bring a presentable copy of your resume, cover letter (easy on the eyes please-

6. Provide a firm handshake and a friendly smile when introducing your self.
7. Begin by saying “How are you today?”

9. Maintain eye contact and speak clearly. (They might sense you are nervous, so what? just do it!)
10.Do not chew gum. (and you’re out!)
11. State the job you’re applying for and mention how you heard about the opening.
12. Indicate how you meet the job requirements listed in the job ad/posting.
13. Tell them what you can offer as an asset to the company/hospital/clinic etc.
14. (Tip) to keep you relax through out the interview process – think of them as one of your “friend”. Make it casual as much as possible but not too casual. Add some humour when appropriate.
