Join the Nursing Avenue Logo Making Contest - open to everyone.
Nursing Avenue is a dedicated online nursing community and one-stop-shop resource for student nurses, caregivers, LPNs and RNs on how to become a safe, competent and Successful NURSE.
Nursing Avenue's mission is to be your ultimate one-stop-shop for practical nursing wisdom for ALL successful nurses (student nurses, Caregivers, Nursing aids, LPNs and Registered Nurses) around the globe. This simple yet substantial site is filled with insights starting from the very basic question - Why Nursing? the struggles and joy that comes with it. Discussions about transition of a student nurse to a professional. Convey challenges of internationally trained nurses, and many more.
MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES:
1. The contest is open to ALL.
2. Each participant may SUBMIT ONLY ONE entry.
3. The logo must INTERPRET AND INCLUDE the theme.
4. There are no restrictions in the number of colors used.
5. A rationale explaining the logo must be e-mailed in not less than 50 words. This rationale must be attached on the logo.
6. The logo should not carry the name of the artist.
7. The design of the logo must be certified original and/or officially submitted by the participant. Any complaints that may arise due to similarities, likeness or comparison of the design, the participant will be responsible to prove its authenticity. Nursing Avenue, in no circumstances, shall be held liable.
8. All entries may be submitted in digital form (jpg file) via email including the rationale at Nursing Avenue - Let’s Connect! http://forum.nursingavenue.com

9. The logo competition shall be judged on the following criteria:
Originality 40%, Significance 30% Overall Impact 30%.
10. Nursing Avenue has the right to use any or all of the design in exhibits/displays and for the publication of any of its information materials such as brochures, leaflets, posters, etc. The name of the participant shall be duly acknowledged. Awarding of the winning entry shall be announced (see upcoming details for more info.) Three winners shall be chosen. Each winner shall receive a cash prize of $100.00
11. All designs submitted as entry for the contest shall be considered as property of Nursing Avenue.
